The news is a few weeks old, but I was reminded of this when the new CEO of my company took over. He told us that "Globalization is a fact of life and is here to stay." He further went on to say that we should read The World is Flat by Tom Friedman. I had been thinking about reading this one anyway. A neighbor of mine recommended 1st reading Friedman's other book, The Lexus and the Olive. I checked this one out of the library and am making slow progress. I'd be doing better if I one could afford to buy a book and had some spare time. I lack both time and money -- too worried about be out-sourced ;-)
